Mystery Lake

Located in the southwest of France, in the Charente department, Mystery Lake France is a modest and intimate place that welcomes carp fishing enthusiasts. The lake occupies an area of 7 acres, with 3 swims available. Rather irregular in shape, each swim is positioned strategically so there is no face-to-face with other fishermen.

We are just as passionate about carp and its environment and our visitors. The fishery is clay-based and opaque in color, which is very good for the health and development of fish (minerals, antibacterial and healing protection). Depths vary but remain relatively stable, with a maximum depth of 2.7 meters. Common carp, mirror carp and koi carp swim in the lake. The lake was purchased with a substantial stock of 100 carp to 50lb and we have added an extra 50 carp up to 55lb. We also chose to stock with a few smaller carp such as fully scaled and some hybrids.

On-site, everything has been arranged to provide the comfort and tranquility that one seeks during a fishing session. Water, electricity, refrigerator and toilets are available to fishermen and their families. Two of the swims have a spacious wooden cabin, which avoids spending time setting up and dismantling your bivvy.
